Christians, Are there any specific verses in the Bible that talks about inviting/asking God into a situation? [Spirituality & Religion]

Of course, God is everywhere(Omnipresent) But is there anything that talks about inviting Him in or examples of other Biblical figures doing this? Thanks in advance!

btw, I'm asking because, I told a friend to ask God into his situation and responded, God is omnipresent, which is true, but... Ya know. 😊

God has promised in Malachi
“ Give me your first fruits and I will open heaven for you and pour down a blessing so much that your barns will be full!”
You can read my post on how God answers prayers and you’ll see that I was broke and I gave the little that I had to church and to a Christian radio station on faith after my husband left me with two small kids, and right before my rent was due a lady knocked on the door and gave me $22000 I could pay my rent!
