When you read the bible, what about it makes you feel that it is divinely inspired? [Spirituality & Religion]

Because i don't get that sense at all when i read it. Just the opposite in fact.

You just prove the Bible right: “ people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means”
Before I became a Christian I was floundering in the dark with the Bible too. How to become a Christian it was as if someone switched on the light to me. You see the good book is right about you again
@Speedyman

So what was the turning on of the light? What made you feel that it was actually divinely inspired and not just the work of men?
Speedyman · 70-79, M
The turning on the light was when I let God into on the subject. The word actually made sense. Before then it hadn’t. I was clueless as you are@Pikachu
@Speedyman

How did you let god into the subject?

Well surely even you’re not as dumb as not to realise when you post under spirituality and religion we are not going to allow God into the subject? @Pikachu
@Speedyman

Sorry, didn't follow that. I think there may be an extra "not" in there or something.

But please answer my question. How did you "let god into the subject"?
You said that the turning on of the light was when you let god into the subject.
How did you go about doing that? Practically speaking, what did that entail?

Well when God knocks on the door you just answer@Pikachu
