When you read the bible, what about it makes you feel that it is divinely inspired? [Spirituality & Religion]

Because i don't get that sense at all when i read it. Just the opposite in fact.

Pikachu, you know it is true. The more you read it, the more it makes sense. You are trying to fight it, but because you fight it so much only proves you know it is true.

It is hard to believe sometimes, but none of it can be proven wrong. Test any other document with thousands of pages and see if you can find anything blatently inaccurate with it. I am sure you will. And these words were written down 2000 years ago, and yet today, it is still accurate, true, and can not be proven wrong.
@carsonfry

No, i don't know it's true. It's not making more sense.
I recognize the themes but they don't convince me that they are of divine origin.
and can not be proven wrong.
Genesis tells us that birds existed before reptiles.
Both the fossil record and genetic study shows unequivocally that this is not the case.

But this is beside the point.
I wasn't asking for you to tell me what you believe about me, i was asking you to share what about the bible makes you think it is divine in origin.
So?

@Pikachu Well, I am not so sure I would put all my eggs in that basket. What convinces you that that is correct?
@carsonfry

The fact that birds have reptilian DNA but reptiles don't have avian DNA. Which means that birds are derived from reptiles which is in contradiction to genesis which tells us that birds were created on the 5th day and land animals on the 6th.
The fossil record confirms this order of events.

But this is not a discussion about evolutionary science.
What is it about the bible which feels divine to you?

@carsonfry It also says right there in the first chapter that the moon is a "luminary," meaning it produces light, and not just a reflector. This has been proven false. Add to that the sun not being made until the day after plants started growing, which we know they can't do without sunlight. That's all right there in chapter one.

You defending it only proves you know it's not true. 😎
