I do believe in God but do think that the Bible is a collection of stories about Jesus and God but not necessarily divinely inspired

So if you don't think that the bible is divinely inspired, what reason do you have to think it has real stories about god in it?
Or do you just mean it's a collection of stories about jesus and god in the same way that a sherlock holmes is a collection of stories about sherlock and watson?

Of course. Because as you say, you can say that about any book ever written.
So since all stories we know about come from human minds, what leads you to believe that the story of the coming of the messiah is no also the product of a human mind?
