Evolution! Amazing,right? But there are creationist who deny the evidence. To them i ask: what is your BEST example of COUNTER evidence to evolution? [Spirituality & Religion]

[c=#BF0000]I've tried this out a couple of times recently but the threads have gotten bogged down in red herrings and resulted in no actual examples of counter evidence.
Probably rather telling.

Why do you have to try and convert others to your beliefs?
Some people belief that evolution is a lie and unless you were there watching all of time play out you dont actually know the truth...about anything so just keep your beliefs and chill.
Coming from someone else who also supports evolution but I dont just take what I read as fact, you need to take a step back from everything, there are many holes in evolution, we dont even know everything about it. Some people believe that aliens interbreed with earth beings and that's what makes humans so different, whose to say they are not right? Ya just dont know and you dont....scientific evidence to support claims doesnt mean we have an entire picture on anything and you dont know what science is a lie, science isnt everything and the government does come up with bullshit to deceive us, just keep an open mind, if you dont want to just dont worry about other people, we all have different views, as we should, if we didn't it would be because we are stupid
@MushroomFaerie

The reason is twofold: first and formost, i enjoy debating. That's what i do here. Some people try to make friends, some people post their kinky fetishes and i like to debate.
Secondly, this is a topic which interests me. The evidence for evolution is so rock solid that it fascinates me that people can deny it and so i am interested in discussing and debating the reasons they feel they have for this denial.
we dont even know everything about it.
Couldn't agree more.
But the fact that there are gaps in our knowledge in no way invalidates the evidence that we have gathered.
And in fact, yours is the argument i most often hear from evolution deniers: if we don't know a, b and c then evolution didn't happen and never mind about evidence x, y and z.

Keeping an open mind means being open to new evidence, not flights of fancy.
And so i make threads like these where i ask for evidence.
Have not encountered much of it to this point.

Hope that addresses your concerns🙂
@Pikachu yip, no I'm pro evolution I just understand where other people come from, I haven't always. There was a time where I would have agreed with you 100% but things just are not black and white
@MushroomFaerie

I think i understand too. In general the rejection of evolution appears to be seated in a religious world view.
It's not that they are aware of evidence which contradicts evolution, it's that they have a previously held belief that evolution must not be real.
While i'm sure they exist, i've never personally spoken to anyone whose reason for denying evolution was because there was evidence disproving it.
