Why God logically cannot exist: [Spirituality & Religion]

Actually it is more logical to believe that God created all than the Big Bang or random chance or whatever the worldly popular theory of the moment. But logic? God doesn’t care about your logic. He cares about your heart. Logic is not how you reach him. A sincere desire to know the truth is the way to God.

@Evegpt Explain your logic then. First you need to show some real, independently verifiable, evidence that your god exists other than in your imagination.
Can you tell me where the first cell of life came from? Do you have a logical explanation for how life started from the very beginning? I’ll need evidence and a source. @Sharon
Sharon · F
@Evegpt The first cell evolved from a simpler, non-cellular, life form.
Try this - https://www.livescience.com/13363-7-theories-origin-life.html

Your turn to answer my question now. Why could Life, the Universe and Everything not have come into being the same way as you believe your god did?
Sharon, do you see the word theory there in your URL? That is no more proof of the origins of life than you say I have. They don’t know and there’s a lot science doesn’t know. Science has been wrong many times with their theories. Atheists say they won’t to be logical and then throw out nothing more than theories. @Sharon

@Evegpt So, you can't answer my question then. I already knew you wouldn't be able to.

Obviously you don't know what the word Theory means in science. A scientific theory is not just a vague idea as in everyday use. In science a Theory is a complete, consistent explanation of the observed facts. Also, contrary to what non-scientists might think, theories are never proven true, in fact scientists try to prove them wrong! Until and unless a theory is proven wrong, it's accepted as an explanation.
Then by that logic since you can’t prove there is no God, you have to accept my theory as an explanation.@Sharon
Sharon · F
@Evegpt A theory has to be consistent and based on evidence, By your logic, unless you can prove the Flying Spaghetti Monster doesn't exist, It's just as valid an explanation as your god.
They thought the Big Bang theory was all that and more and where are we on that theory now? When I start quoting bob dylan might be time to take a breather. There’s a piece of pizza with my name on it. @Sharon
Sharon · F
@Evegpt Like I said, a theory is accepted until proven wrong. The Lambda-CDM model (popularly called "the big bang theory") is a good explanation of a lot of what we know but it needs some refining. If a better model is found it will replace the Lambda-CDM one. That's the difference between scientific theories and religious dogma - science moves forward with new discoveries.

Postulating a god as an explantion for the origin of the universe doesn't really explain anything, it just adds another layer because you then need to explain the origin of that god. If you manage that, you then need to show why that same explanation cannot be applied to the unverse as a whole instead.

@Evegpt
The truth matters ? Then why does your religion frown on skeptics ? Curiosity leads to evidence, and evidence leads to truth, not to god. Take off the rose tinted glasses,

@Emosaur An atheist who doesn't know their own gods. Even more interesting.

@Emosaur I know about fallacies, they're used in substitute of a real argument.

@Emosaur Well I wish you knew half as much about God and the Bible as you think you do so we could at least have a reasonably interesting discussion about it. There's the real fallacy. Wish in one hand . . . .

@Emosaur
I know more about those than any Christian, but okay.
As unimpressive as that may be, I doubt it nevertheless.
