But as you are so intent on living by the old Testament let me give you a few old Testament Scriptures for you to mull over

‘The wise in heart will receive commands from God,
But a prating fool [such is how an an atheist is described] will fall.’
‘ The fool has said in his heart there is no God‘
‘ Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than him‘
There is actually hope for the fool if he gets a bit of humility and starts listening to good sense rather than filling his mind with fantasies like you do
The first thing we have to do is show some humility and admit to God we don’t know it all and we’re not good enough.

Your God of the New Testament us still the same God of the Old Testament. He still ordered the same things. He still brings death and disease. He still punishes those who don't follow his every whim with eternal damnation.

@Speedyman your God is omnipotent in your beliefs, he could stop all diseases and death. He has punished with death and disease. That's not love. His "redemption" is you need to be a slave to him and one misstep leads to suffering.
