What's the point of praying? [Spirituality & Religion]

[i]For those of you who are religious...[/i]Religious views depict God as all-knowing, so what difference does it make if you pray? Wouldn't he already know what's going on?

This post isn't meant to bash religious people (my whole family is religious) , so I'm not looking for negative replies. Just wondering about the mindset behind this. This is something they didn't ever really seem to explain lol

@Harriet03 not a Christian, but I was super clear that this was meant respectful, addressed to a specific group of people, and not to bash anyone. People want to be disrespectful they can do it on their own post. Have a nice day❤️

@AmmieBell Funny how people come onto a post being rude and then try to twist it so you're in the wrong lmao. There's a way to respectfully disagree. they taught us how in elementary school. It's not needed on this post anyway since you clarified that you were talking to people who were religious.

@wilderflower my post isn't for debate. It was to get the opinions of those who Do believe in prayers. You don't have to agree. Frankly, I don't particularly believe in praying either. But I'm not coming on here and being rude about it. Take it to your own post if you feel the need.
