My parents are atheists [Spirituality & Religion]

And I hate it. I have heard so many stories of religion helping people and turning lives around (like Malcolm X). I've spoken to many religious people, and I notice that they're much more friendly, smiling, and OPTIMISTIC than secular people.

I feel like I'm too old to be secular anymore. I feel like atheism is a child's fairy tale.

I guess having something to believe in fulfills something essential for people whereas things become relative when you don't. If everythnig is relative then what is true. Even though you can criticise for not asking that, they aren't questions they have to deal with.

I think even if you don't believe in a deity its good to embody an ideal or have a sense of something grander than ones self. You can criticise either conclusion as they both lack evidence so if you wanna explore that you should.
