I think it would be pretty hard for people to keep him out
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@RayKyler Hmmm 🤔
That’s a thought. God’s light doesn’t go out when the children leave home and go to school.

God would say, “you are given the freedom to do as you like”. God won’t stop evil from happening. I don’t think He would anyway. But what do I know. 🤷‍♀️

Depends on what that means. If it means teacher-led prayer, then I'm never going to support that. If it means space for children of any faith to pray, I'm fine with that, as well as teaching values and skills that are in harmony with religious teachings. That doesn't mean teaching kids what to believe or converting them.

If God wants to help kids, He is certainly not prevented by any school policy.
@Piper No, but people have made it very clear, they don't want any part of Him. They took him out of the Pledge of Allegiance. He won't go, where he's not wanted.

@LadyGrace The Pledge did not even originally have "under God" in it. That was added later during the Cold War. Same with "in God we trust" on the money. Just another way the nation's secular past is often obscured.

I don't mind "under God" in the pledge myself. I'm just saying. It makes a difference because there was a specific reason it was added and it was political more than anything.
@SW-User I understand, however, that does not take away from the fact that it was still protested against and removed by critics who contended that a government-sanctioned endorsement of religion, violates the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
He’s waiting for the real ppl to stand back up.. he has faith 😎
