Why is it wrong to have God and Religion in schools? [Spirituality & Religion]

In parochial schools they do. But public schools are attended by (and paid for by) people of all faiths, believers of many different deities. So why would we force one belief system on them ? The dollar didn’t always say “In God We Trust” and even now it doesn’t specify whose.
If we start having any God or religion in public schools, we’d better make room for all of them and treat them equally.
