You're not going find that 'rule' of the separation of church and state in Constitution. It's found in a letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote to a baptists church assuring that the government would not interfere with their religious freedom.

@GodSpeed63 you don’t find that exact wording, but the concept is there. That wording is popular because it’s more concise than what’s actually written (“ Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”). So the rule is in fact there

Not on your life. You misunderstand. It says that Congress will not be respecter of any one religion. Meaning, they can't discriminate against any religion.

Don’t act as if you’ve forgot the meaning of the words you use just because the unconstitutional act was in your favor (adding religious messages you agree with). I don’t care if you think they’re talking about the one true god or not, it’s still being a respecter regardless of if the respect/recognition is to the ‘true’ god
