Nobody I know thinks it's wrong.
What's wrong is imposing faith on people who have no faith, or faith on people of different faith.
There's nothing wrong having a period of time where kids can pray, read the bible, meditate. Even let them break into peer groups. Or do homework, read, whatever they like.
It's a problem to have a publicly funded school and to subject all students to the same religious activity.

@CopperCicada well you know me and I think it is profoundly wrong. I don't pay taxes to have my kids trained in misogyny

@SW-User when I went to school we had an hour to do as we liked. There was no instruction.

@CopperCicada I was more referring to the opening post. We didn't have much free time
