If you don't honor Christ in your daily life than why should you celebrate Christmas and Easter

There were celebration dedicated to this time of year waaaayyyy before Christ was born. The way Christmas is celebrated is heavily affected by those. I believe people like you should educate themselves.

@SW-User Christmas is the celebration of Christ's birth its been cheapened by addition of Santa and made all about presents

@Mountainlady16 So you have no "Christmas" tree I suppose.
Anyway, if non-Christians celebrate midwinter or the solstice or whatever by buying gifts and believing in Santa, which you as a Christian cannot relate to, what is your issue?

@SW-User no we don't have a Christmas tree. And we celebrate in German tradition saint Nicholas day which was almost 3 weeks ago. My family gives gifts in the tradition that the wise men brought gifts to the Christ child

@Mountainlady16 Santa is the commercialised version of Saint Nicholas which btw is not a German tradition.

@SW-User saint Nicholas was German and Germany is one of the countries that celebrate saint Nicholas day

@Mountainlady16 Saint Nicholas was from Anatolia/Asia Minor. Back then it was part of Greece, today it is part of Turkey. The celebration you're talking about is on the 6th of December. What you think you celebrate as Saint Nicholas, is German, pagan traditions mixed with Christian ones. And you call yourself a Christian and dare to have an opinion...You do need to educate yourself.

@Mountainlady16 I hate to break this news to you, but you are wrong in your belief about Christmas. It is a holiday that was around much longer and Christians took it over making it their own in an effort to do away with the other observances and traditions. Sorry, but this is fact...IDidNotFart2 is correct.
