Any Christians on here? [Spirituality & Religion]

I am a born-again believer, like WildEcho and Godspeed. If you'll look under my profile I've written about my beliefs and why I believe like I do. Christianity is unlike religion. Religion is described as man-made philosophy. God did not give us man's plan for salvation, but His plan for salvation, because man's plan is flawed and it is only his philosophy, not God's. following Jesus means you have a personal relationship with him, not a religion. God doesn't care about denominations and who belongs to what. He cares about our heart and helping us find our way to his Father in heaven. The reason I follow Jesus is because he is the only one who has access to God, his father in heaven. That's why his father sent him... not to condemn the world, but to save it. Jesus is the only mediator between God and man. Check out all the other gods in this world and they do not even present a plan of salvation. They do not see nor hear. They believe in getting to heaven by good works and even God's word says that no one can work their way to heaven by being good or anything else. If that were true, then Jesus would not have had to come down from heaven and die on the cross to save us from our sins. He paid our sin debt on the cross with his blood. Please read through my articles and see what you think. It is Jesus who did the "work" of salvation, on the cross. We never get to heaven based on our performance. Never.

Then open up a Bible and read it for yourself. There's no need for anyone else to have to '[b]convince[/b]' you which usually just ends up in a silly debate because people have different perspectives. Either you believe or you do not, it's your choice

I am a born again Christian. But you know, if you're gonna choose to believe in anything, I'd advise you to filter all you hear. Because even Christianity is changed as times passed by. Religions would label themselves differently. Teachings are changed because of translations and because people keep editing them, revising them for convenience.

Just like what I heard last time in church, if you're gonna be like JESUS be like him. Not like Paul or John or any other disciples, because even they received rebuke from Jesus at some point because they didn't understand what He was really doing. Christmas is about loving the lost, and it means you're included in the list. Jesus didn't come to save those who are righteous. He came for those who are sinners in need of grace.

And I love JESUS because He loved me first and when things get tough and I kneel down to pray, he answers me in unexpected ways. Sometimes, by a quote or a helping hand or any language that's clearly eminating love. And at the times when things are truly difficult and I hate Him, He just doesn't leave. He's there, here, with me, always.
