Atheists, is it worth being an Atheist when it makes you so bitter and twisted and cynical? [Spirituality & Religion]

I think being cynical is not necessarily a bad thing. I also think it works the other way around and bitterness leads to atheistic beliefs. I definitely agree that religion ran it’s course and should be forgotten already though. If there was a worldwide petition aiming to abolish religion,I would join the cause. People can’t seem to wrap their heads around the fact that religion is a concept created by humans. Most self proclaimed atheist are against creationism and religion as a whole,not the idea of a more intelligent species started life on this planet . God is only a word and it does not equal religion
