A guardian angel? Not from what I've seen. I mean bloody hell with the amount of people who have been tortured and massacred over the years, I don't really see it as being probable at all. And raped!! Dear god, the amount of people I've spoken to who were raped, molested and so on. Or the slave trade, slavery that's another one.
@Penny They had it coming? And some karmic retribution? That seems unlikely too. Especially considering the evidence recorded so far of a indifferent universe. I mean pray to who you want, think what you want and believe who you want but if you jump into a volcano well that'll most likely be the end of you. And how is catching a whooping now for something you do earlier on supposed to improve your behavior? And what if you like catching a whooping as some people do? See it opens up even more questions like what if someone prefers being a blowfly than being a human being; and last but not least what is the point? So what if a bunch of souls, probably 1 or 2, follow all of the rules and reach ultimate enlightenment. Then what? And why?
