This is the thing that always gets me.
Like he's saving us from himself. We're only going to hell or whatever because that's how he's chosen to do things. Why all the rigmarole with creating a loophole? Why not just make it happen? What kind of all good being demands a blood sacrifice?

@Pikachu sure you can humble yourself a little! He wants to show his love for us. It's a way to woo us and prove what he will do! He really doesn't have to do anything at all. And when you say he can just forgive! No there has to be a payment for Everet single injustice in the world. It's like gravity it's the way the world hold together in justice!

1) God can do whatever he chooses to do. If he so chose, he could simply forgive or have created a universe wherein that was possible.
2) It's not justice to torture someone else for my crimes, therefore justice is not the concern.

@Pikachu We don't know every detail of heaven do we? He can do anything! Well God is a spirit And he IS present! He wants us to work here; not experience heaven now, this life is like a test for the afterlife! (I changed this comment because I wasn't making any sense, I worded it wrong before)

And we have a huge problem of not taking responsibility for our actions. So Yes he can forgive He can do anything but there is a sacrifice for sin, and He provided the sacrifice Himself. God is a spirit and actually help us more than an actual father ever could. I tested him on this in 2017 when I wanted to go skiing on a workday when I had no friend to come with me. I was a little scared at first but then I said to God. "You tell me that you are a father to the fatherless, and a husband to the husbandless so help me with the car in the snow now please so I don't fall off the cliff, or spin out like all these cars around me with husbands driving." So he helped me. He cleared the road, just like when I took a walk a week ago and the storm happened the second I got in the door. My son was over and said Mom look at the rain after you shut the door all the rain came down in buckets, and I didn't get a drop on my head. Well I love to walk in the rain but it was like heaven opened up and buckets came in a second and I wasn't at all prepared to walk in the rain.
We don't know why he does everything. But I trust his motivation of love. Because He says He loves us so, He proved it, and we don't know what will happen after we die except what God tells us, and if we see with our eyes open, and trust His promises you will see his love too.
