Can we stop saying that atheists are afraid to believe in god? [Spirituality & Religion]

Who the heck wouldn't want to believe that death is not the end and that we'll be reunited with our loved ones?

It seems to me that in fact fear is one of the strongest motivators TO believe in a god which soothes the terrors of death, oblivion and separation.

All I have to say is that if Christ existed, as detailed in the New Testament, His disciples on SW would do well to practise some of the humility He preached.

Excuse me but that 'book' not only gives evidence to the One who wrote it, but we give evidence that we're living it every day of lives.

God's Word is eternal and He still interacts with us each day of our lives. You and I are living proof of that. Plus, there are prophecies in His Word that are yet to be fulfilled.

And I'm familiar with Revelations too. We've been in bed times for quite a while now!

There's only one interpretation of God's Word and that belongs to Him only. Without His Spirit dwelling in you, there is no way you can interpret His Word accurately.
