Jesus was the Bronze Age version of fake news that a lot people believe.

@TakingBackMidgard
Jesus was the Bronze Age version of fake news that a lot people believe.
Do you have a basis for your conclusion or are you just blowing your own horn?
TakingBackMidgard · 31-35, M
@GodSpeed63 history
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@TakingBackMidgard
history
Whose?
TakingBackMidgard · 31-35, M
@GodSpeed63 whose? There is only history
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@TakingBackMidgard
whose? There is only history
Yeah, the Word of God.
TakingBackMidgard · 31-35, M
@GodSpeed63 an inferior god
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@TakingBackMidgard
an inferior god
This God, you refer to as inferior, will one day stand before you either as your Heavenly Father or as your judge. You choose.
TakingBackMidgard · 31-35, M
@GodSpeed63 uhhh standing before me would mean he or she would be under my jurisdiction... In that case I would impeach god.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@TakingBackMidgard
uhhh standing before me would mean he or she would be under my jurisdiction... In that case I would impeach god.
Nope. You'll be kneeling before Him and give an account of your life that He so richly gave you. Then, you will confess with your tongue that Jesus Christ is Lord. How will you do this, as an adoptive son, which He prefers, or as someone He has to judge, which breaks His heart? For your own sake, I pray that it will be as His adoptive son.
TakingBackMidgard · 31-35, M
@GodSpeed63 That’s pretty gay. Also sounds like a dictatorship. Jesus is actually Loki. You would think other wise as Loki is the deciever of the gods. You bets be prepared for Ragnarok
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@TakingBackMidgard
That’s pretty gay.
It is gay to be an adoptive son of God. Gay as in joyful, not that false meaning to the word.
TakingBackMidgard · 31-35, M
@GodSpeed63 false meaning? All words are made up. Like your god
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@TakingBackMidgard
All words are made up. Like your god
Where's your evidence?
TakingBackMidgard · 31-35, M
@GodSpeed63 the dictionary... Where every word made up was given a definition?
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@TakingBackMidgard
the dictionary...
That's not substantial evidence. It seems to me all you want to do is blow your own horn.
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@GodSpeed63 Dictionaries certainly are substantial. They provide the accepted definitions of words.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Bushranger
Dictionaries certainly are substantial.
Not accurately though.
TakingBackMidgard · 31-35, M
@GodSpeed63 please tell me you’re kidding. If not, everything you will ever say from here on end is forfeit.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@TakingBackMidgard
please tell me you’re kidding.
It wouldn't be the truth if I did.
TakingBackMidgard · 31-35, M
@GodSpeed63 I have heard, I have read, I have seen some pretty dumb things from all around the world and on the internet. This is by far the top ranking. I congratulate you on this achievement.
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@GodSpeed63
Not accurately though
OK, you've made a pretty big claim there. How about some examples.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M

n.
1.
a. A gradual process in which something changes into a different and usually more complex or better form.

2. Biology
a. Change in the genetic composition of a population during successive generations, often resulting in the development of new species. The mechanisms of evolution include natural selection acting on the genetic variation among individuals, mutation, migration, and genetic drift.

These are the only three that I know of right now.
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@GodSpeed63 And all are accepted definitions of those words. Of course, you have only provided a part of each definition, probably in an attempt to prove the definitions wrong.

The accepted meaning of words change over time, that's what happens with a dynamic language. I would propose that is the reason for the different versions of the Bible. Each one has the same context, but the language varies.

I also notice that you didn't use "religion" as an example of incorrectly defined words. You seem to have had significant issues with it in the past.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Bushranger
And all are accepted definitions of those words.
Not all.
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@GodSpeed63 You do make me laugh. You may not like the definitions, but that doesn't make them any less valid.
