Why would an all-powerful, omnipresent, omniscient god want lesser beings to worship and give offerings to him? [Spirituality & Religion]

That sounds like something a narcissistic sociopath would do.

Stop humanizing God.. God is a God not a human being.. So stop projecting human vanities upon Him..
Zenyatta · 26-30
@Adstar I didn’t have to humanize your god your Bible did that for me
Pfuzylogic · M
@Zenyatta
Considering that Jesus was the Messiah and sits at the right hand. I am glad God knows me as human.
Zenyatta · 26-30
@Pfuzylogic Ok but how does that correlate with Adstar’s point?
Pfuzylogic · M
@Zenyatta
Just trying to help you out buddy.
You seemed confused on how God and humanity connected.
Zenyatta · 26-30
@Pfuzylogic You mean with how man made your god is? Because that’s the only visible connection I’m seeing
Pfuzylogic · M
@Zenyatta
Jesus was born from a virgin. He is far from man made but conceived by the Holy Spirit!
Zenyatta · 26-30
@Pfuzylogic 1.The concept of Jesus came about in the time period where dying and rising savior cults were common.
2. The entire story implodes on itself when even the disciples can’t get their story together and contradict each other,
3. This also took place in one of the most well recorded time periods yet no one literate in that area wrote about the dead rising or random hour long eclipses.
4.Christianity and Judaism resembles too closely to Zoroastrianism, a religion that predates both.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Zenyatta
Please don’t get boorish with Zoroastrianism and let that Persian religion die it’s natural death.
Everything else you said is inaccurate but the same excuse many that lack Faith present.
Zenyatta · 26-30
@Pfuzylogic Imagine living in a country built on religious freedom and wishing for the death of a religion that is still being practiced today because you don’t like people bringing up the parallels between it and Judaism/Christianity. Nothing I’ve said is inaccurate, unless you can actually back that up but I would love to see a non-biased source corroborating that the saints rose from the dead and walked amongst the living and proof of a multi hour long eclipse during the crucifixion.

Romans 1:17
The just shall live by Faith.
I am much more comfortable with my belief in the Ressurection of Jesus my Christ than any other science, philosophy or religion that presents a story to compete with my Salvation.
John 3:14
For whomsoever believe, the same shall be saved.
Come on over to reality!
Zenyatta · 26-30
@Pfuzylogic Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Your faith is not based in reality, the very concept of your faith goes against it. I mean otherwise you wouldn’t have so many Christians explaining away why all the rape, slavery, and child murdering was ok.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Zenyatta
Who said that those assaults were okay?
Are you working in reality? 🤨
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Zenyatta
@Adstar I didn’t have to humanize your god your Bible did that for me
Your personal interpretation of the bible did that to you..
Zenyatta · 26-30
@Adstar Nothing personal this is objectivity. Replace all the words that include god with any other name and you would call the Bible the writings of a mad cult.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Zenyatta
You have a bizarre way of twisting everything.
Zenyatta · 26-30
@Pfuzylogic Christians I debate, my own family who are pentecostal (both who are high up in their denomination’s clergy)and christian apologists. Oh and then there’s the fact that the Catholic Church keeps relocating their pedophile priests and sending thousands of $$ in hush money
Pfuzylogic · M
@Zenyatta
Then you put yourself on the judgement seat of Moses.
That isn’t your place and you might want to come down.
Zenyatta · 26-30
@Pfuzylogic You’re calling me twisted when all your rebuttals have been nothing but question my sanity without even trying to explain in detail on how I’m wrong. Your arguments are based on emotion alone, which is incredibly disappointing seeing how if the topic was political you would eviscerate the person you were arguing against with actual facts. This right here is just low effort ad hominems is expect from someone emotionally compromised
Pfuzylogic · M
@Zenyatta
This isn’t emotional that I find what you present as contemptible.
Zenyatta · 26-30
@Pfuzylogic So are you agreeing or disagreeing that all the atrocities I listed in the Bible are wrong or you going to continue dancing around the subjects with your analogies. Either directly debunk my points or you’re full of it. It’s that simple
Adstar · 56-60, M
@Zenyatta No you definitely are no objective.. You disagree with God and that lead you to disbelieve in God..

But disagreeing with someone can never be used as proof that that person does not exist..
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
I find your claim that God does not exist an extraordinary claim.. One that you have no hope of providing any extraordinary evidence for..
Zenyatta · 26-30
@Adstar That is a terrible straw man and thats not how that works lol. If your claim is that you worship the god of the Bible and that he is real (that is the extraordinary claim). You have to provide evidence. Physical and metaphysical. Archeology, paleontology, anthropology, zoology, biology, and even meteorology disproves the Bible’s claims. Provide actual evidence, no Bible verses, no vague anologies, give me the actual god you claim is real.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Zenyatta
You stated some things disprove the Holy Bible. How silly.
Zenyatta · 26-30
@Pfuzylogic So you’re just going to ignore my last question to you? And then go straight to my rebuttal addressed to someone else? I’d say I’m disappointed but that would imply I had expectations for you.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Zenyatta
I honestly don’t care what you think. You have proved yourself unreliable in many ways. This whole post is seriously in error.
