Have You ever experienced Ego Death? [Spirituality & Religion]

I am just going through it now in a natural way. Real Eye-Opening experience. And No, I didn't take anything to reach it. And I am glad I reached it naturally.

If you have, then care to share how you experienced it?

One can never be entirely free of the ego, but an interesting experience I am sure🙂

@Jester1987 Will you throw yourself in front of a truck on a whim?
Jester1987 · M
@ravenwind43 We Always will if that what it takes to reach where we want to.

@Jester1987 You didn't answer my question
Jester1987 · M
@ravenwind43 I will if it must.

@Jester1987 You ego is your reasoning capability. Without that you're in deep trouble. At least according to Freud's assessment.

@ravenwind43 And Reasoning has limitations. The reasoning is ego. When one says they experienced ego death, they think their ego died, but they don't realize that it didn't die but they just have it now under control. Ego controls us all, but once we control ego, we feel like it died, why? Because the long-lasting grips that you once felt so long are gone... & now you see more than you were shown by your ego, you see things more clearly, more what you had ever seen before. That means you aren't letting your reasoning go, but now you are having the better control of it.

@Jester1987 The term ego death might not be correct then.

And our reasoning will work fine when our emotions are under control. 🙂

@ravenwind43 The definition is human in nature so it might just do. It's how we do it.

@ravenwind43 Thing is, Beliefs create thoughts, thoughts create feelings, and feelings are directly connected to what we believe. So the action we take is because of what we felt. And now do you know why that emotion occurred? It was because of what we believed.
If you closely see, it's a cycle...
