Well, as someone who is not an atheist but neither a religious person, I am still doubting about God's existence, but I strongly believe that He is never dead. In the bible, God sacrifices himself to save us, and then He reborn. He reborn which means He would never die. His immortality is eternal and will remain forever; that is what I believe He is.
But my opinion is just something that I believe, not that I saw. And the only way to find out the answer is death. Unfortunately, once we die, we can never go back to tell everybody the answer to God's existence. It will become a truth that no one knows but us.
