Good for you!
Me, I'm not going to confess to my hubris, nor am I going to measure myself against an omnipotent being when it's all I can manage half the time to get myself dressed in the morning and at work on time.
I'll say this, though. My intentions are pretty good, and I don't think I'd like it letting all the bad stuff happen that's happened.
But, it's easy to throw stuff at the screen from the peanut gallery. When I become divine, I'll let you know how I measure up.

@MistyCee
lol of course i haven't.
But again, i only have the frame of reference for morality that i have and i don't see how mass murder can be morally right.
It seems the best christians can manage for that is that god has the RIGHT to slaughter babies by the millions so it's ok.
I don't buy into that.

@Carazaa
I only judge god on his deeds. Or at least those deeds attributed to him.
Why shouldn't i think i'm morally superior? Tell me.
God sees fit to slaughter millions of babies.
I would never do that.
God thinks it's cool to torture a man to win a bet.
I would never do that.
God deems it just to punish people if they don't love him.
I would never do that.
So tell me, carazaa. Based on his deeds, why SHOULDN'T i hold myself has morally superior to god?

@Pikachu You can NOT judge God because you don't know the reason why he does things. It is plain stupid to presume you know why he does anything. Especially if you haven't read the entire Bible. because He explains himself there. Ofcourse you would kill if you were offended enough. Ofcourse you would kill off the world if they hated you and were ignorant of all the loving acts towards them that you had done for them time and time again and they hated you because they were jealous that they didn't get what their neighbor got and had hate in their hearts every day and complained and complained and complained after all you had done. Ofcourse you would.
@Carazaa
1) i HAVE read the entire bible before.
2) don't dictate to me what i would do in an effort to make excuses for god.
3) if god is supposed to be better than us, you can't use what a human might do as an excuse for why god does the evil that he does.
Here's the long and the short of it, carazaa. The fact is that the things god does in the bible are EVIL by any recognizable standard of morality.
The only thing you can do is have faith that god committed this evil for the greater good.
You have no justification. You have no reason. Only faith.
So don't be surprised when those who do not share that faith call a spade a spade.

@MistyCee I'm really impressed that our answers are almost exactly the same to this REALLY PECULIAR question!!
@Platoscave lol. Our little yellow friend is kind of trolling the bible thumpers, isn't he?

@MistyCee Fun times are BACK. I was on the nervous downvoting "Reddit" for only 2 days and got too lonely...!
