Have You Watched This Video? [Spirituality & Religion]

If you haven't, here it is again. These are documented miracles that no skeptic can refute. God is still on His throne, He is large and in charge. He is Love and Good.

Well, can you explain those miracles?
Harriet03 · 41-45, F
@GodSpeed63 Can You? (With a straight face)? 🤷‍♀️
@GodSpeed63 I don't have almost two hours to waste on this idiot. I once tried reading one of Strobel's books, because he was recommended as relating well to skeptics. I got through the first chapter and had to stop - it was a load of rubbish. The same "trust God, he knows best." Strobel isn't trying to convince skeptics; he's writing for people who already agree with him, who enjoy hearing their opinions validated.

Are there any examples of, say, a severed limb growing back? Not like what the Reverend Ernest Angley or Peter Popoff or one of those other frauds used to do, where they would have an amputee on their show one day, pray over them, then bring their twin on the next day and claim God grew the person's legs back. I'm talking about observation of a limb growing back under verified laboratory conditions.

Definitely. These miracles are documented, now let's see you try to refute them.

Are you saying that what Lee Strobel went through, nearly sacrificing his career and almost losing his family to disprove God, rubbish? Were you there when all this happened to him? Do you know him personally?
@GodSpeed63 I'm sure whatever Strobel went through was compelling for him, and led him to his current faith. That doesn't make it mean jack-all to me, however. I wouldn't expect my life experiences to mean anything to Lee Strobel, either.

I'm sure he's a decent, thoughtful person. I just found his theological argument to be utter nonsense.

Cat Stevens went through a very compelling religious experience that led him to embrace Islam; I'm sure that means nothing to you just as it means nothing to me other than "good for him, I hope he's happy." I find it incredibly arrogant when someone goes through a religious conversion and assumes their experience should apply to everyone else.

If Strobel's books help you, fantastic, but that has nothing to do with me.

Don't know but they mean an awful lot to God, Yahweh, who knew you even before He created you in your mother's womb.

So is the work of Santa Claus. Let see you refute that or prove He isn't real.

Lee Strobel is just another propagandist. Where's the real evidence, independently verified under laboratory conditions, supporting his claims?

You're still not a hopeless case, I'll be praying for you.

@GodSpeed63 I'm good. You're the hopeless case!! Dangerous to..
Carazaa · F
@Harriet03 How is he dangerous? Do you realize that you are in danger and that is the reason why we are here to warn people that if God doesn't protect people there is no hope!
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Harriet03
You're the hopeless case!! Dangerous to.
In what way?
@Carazaa What if you're wrong?

I get the whole argument of "if someone is in a burning house, you have a duty to warn them." But what if the house isn't actually burning? What if your house is burning, but you just haven't noticed?
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@LeopoldBloom
What if you're wrong?
Then our faith would be futile. What if you are wrong?
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63 No different from if you've been following the wrong god. How are you going to explain yourself to Odin or Kahless the Unforgettable for example?
