Yes, because I don't trust myself to be able to discern what is an answered prayer and what's not. I don't believe that just asking for patience or love gets those qualities bestowed automatically. I think we're given situations in which we can find those qualities through the lesson and the trial. Doesn't feel like an answered prayer, but it often is.
