@SW-User He regurgitated the mistakes of ancients: most notably on the topic of eternal return.

@ImKelsey I think he saw life, paradoxically, as a series of awesome choices, and used the idea to illustrate the weight of freedom. He wants people to act as if it were true, more than literally believing it, I think.
