My master splinter has trained me and my brothers without prayer

A person can get along quite well without prayer. Some of the richest men of all time did it all without a word of prayer. And they did it even though they thought God was a ridiculous concept.@donatello

@BigRon Fortunately those types were not among our Founding Fathers
@BigRon You better read your history. Some of our great presidents relied on prayer . For example George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

Absolutely right, LadyGrace. My only point was that God allows people to be successful even though they reject Him, and far worse, they reject Jesus. But the greatest people are, and always have been, people of prayer.@LadyGrace
@BigRon I agree with your very last sentence but not the part where you said God allows people to be successful though they reject Him. If people who reject Christ are successful, they have done it without gods help because he does not help people who reject him become successful. He does not even hear their prayers for success. The Bible is clear on that.

I think we agree on this. You have to agree, that a sovereign God, for whatever reason, allows a lot of Godless people to attain earthly wealth@LadyGrace
@BigRon No. I don't believe that. They are on their own, without God. The Bible says he does not hear their prayers, that reject him. He has nothing to do with their wealth. They get it by their own efforts. They are cut off from God. Remember in the end, He says "Sorry, I never knew you." He never helps those who reject him. Not even a little bit. He helps His children. There's not one story or incident in the Bible that says God helped those who rejected Him.
