@Stefan136 Actually people like Joseph Campbell took them very seriously as the collective mythology of the times .... There is a deep truth there but NOT the one the FUNDIES think is so apparent.

@Pikachu That's why I'm saying, don't take it that seriously. This simply means that when we, as human beings, developed a higher consciousness, we were aware of multiple types of lifeforms that developed over the passing time Earth had before we got there, mutating over the years. But since we were the ones who got the glimpse that they all exist in different places (which are their own natural habitats), people reference it as if upon the creation of our conscious world becoming more evolved, so does the existence of all these different forms. That's all there is to it, but plenty would like to have you think otherwise.
