Do you ever wonder if you are a good enough christian [Spirituality & Religion]

I sometimes think about whether I am a failure as a christian because of my flaws. I know that I am wholly redeemed by Christ's dying for my sins. But am I actually a good influence towards others leading them towards wanting Christ in their lives.

We are all imperfect and fall short of the glory of God.

We are all sinners.

None of us deserve his love and mercy.

But God's love is so great, He forgives us anyway and gives us a place in heaven, just for believing and being faithful.

When you are consumed with guilt and that keeps you from God's plan for your life, the Devil wins!

You have to accept God's mercy and Jesus' sacrifice.

What Jesus did on the cross is enough to cover not only your sins, but the sins of the whole world!

Because he never sinned and is the perfect sacrifice, it is enough to cover the sins of the world.

Jesus paid the price for sins you haven't even done yet!

So don't worry about not being good enough. None of us are good enough.

Don't worry about not being worthy. None of us are worthy.

Don't worry about not being righteous. None of are righteous ... except that ...

Jesus died for our sins.

He was good enough and makes us good enough.

He was worthy, and makes us worthy.

He was righteous and makes us righteous.

His righteousness is bestowed upon you.

You didn't earn it, but you have it.

Praise God and thank Jesus for what you have.

What Jesus did is enough for everyone and that includes you.

@StrictLoving So Ted Kaczynski too?
@SimplyTracie Why you gotta hate on the Unabomber? He's in A Supermax paying his debt to society.
StrictLoving · 56-60, M
@SimplyTracie no sin is so great it cannot be washed clean by Jesus's blood.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@quitwhendone Ohhh Colorado ADX. Way too cold up there. 🥶
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@StrictLoving Hmmm that’s interesting.
StrictLoving · 56-60, M
@quitwhendone that is where he paid his debt to man. Jesus Paid his debt to God.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@StrictLoving No repentance required?
StrictLoving · 56-60, M
@SimplyTracie of course repentance is required. But it wouldn't make a difference if it weren't the price Jesus paid.
@SimplyTracie I was kidding. I am not trying to defend that crazy murder-bomber.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@quitwhendone Whew! 😅
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
StrictLoving · 56-60, M
@quitwhendone the ultimate irony being I'm sure he thought he was doing good and fighting evil in his actions.
@SimplyTracie Yeah, I knew you were worried. 🤣
Reverend · M
@SimplyTracie What is repentance of the new testament?
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Reverend You tell me
Reverend · M
@SimplyTracie turning from gods to the true God
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Reverend Ummmm, needs more explanation
Reverend · M
@SimplyTracie im not sure how to explain it more. The pharisees was unbelievers of Christ. They incorporated their own rules and expected man to follow it. They refuted Christ being God in the flesh.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Reverend Just give me the verse that explains the meaning of repentance
Reverend · M
@SimplyTracie there is not one verse alone but scripture.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Reverend What does repentance mean to you.
Reverend · M
@SimplyTracie turning from a false god or unbelief to believing on the true God.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Reverend Are you saying that repentance has nothing to do with sin and forgiveness.
Reverend · M
@SimplyTracie let me ask you. Have you or can you repent of all your sin? Be perfect?🤔
