Do you hold the same religious belives as your parents/what you were taught? [Spirituality & Religion]

I'm not asking what you believe nor don't believe...just if it is the same or different than what your parent believe(d), or what you were taught.

Yes and no. I believe in God, most certainly, and I believe in most of the things I learned in CCD class. I suppose I will always feel that I am returning to a childhood "home" when I hear and see elements of that religion, and I do sometimes feel some misguided nostalgia.

But I have encountered more hatred and intolerance in that church than I can stomach, and I don't think I will try again to go back, as I once did.
