Is the god of the bible a moral being? [Spirituality & Religion]

Syllogism time:

Killing a baby is always immoral no matter who does it or for what reason.
God killed many, many babies in the flood.
Therefore god is immoral.

I also agree that God is immoral. What type of monster gives children cancer. Seriously WTF God.

Yeah, disease and natural disaster seem problematic from the perspective of a loving god.

One could argue that the suffering that humans inflict upon each other is the result of their fall from grace, but it seems asinine to attribute earthquakes and cancer to a human failing.

Like give us a break, G

@Sroonaka616 As a bonus gift it even threw in a tiny parasitic worm that blinds children by drilling holes through their eyes.
Talk about a temper tantrum!

@Sroonaka616 God answers our prayers! God tells us exactly what we have to do to for him to hear us and to have our prayers answered. I posted it earlier this morning, but no one cares about what God wants just what they themselves want. 🌷

@Carazaa What about all the times he doesn't answer your prayers?

@Sroonaka616 In those cases, creationists are taught to either blame themselves, or to attribute the lack of response to some deeper (always mysterious) purpose. In any case, the magical entity is always given a free pass.

@Sroonaka616 If we follow Jesus he answers all our prayers. That is my experience. And that is what Jesus promises. if he does not answer all prayers it is because we sin. Then he does not hear, and will not answer.
