The Bible is rather clear that God is the creator and sustainer of all life. Those who reject God are already dead. They are rejecting the giver of life. He sustains their body in hope that they will, in their own will, choose to repent and turn to Him for a life with Him. But, if people choose to reject life then He will give to them what they wished for. Separation from God will be separation from life.

@NewBecky So do you deny that if God is omnipotent, then not only is he the way the truth and the life, but that he is also not the way, not the truth and not life. AKA, he is lying and death as well?
It seems like you can't want him to be all these good things and not all the bad things as well.

@NewBecky
He was an Atheist working for a Chicago paper when he studied the evidence.
What evidence? All he's has is a load of unsupported propaganda. Every time I've looked at "the evidence" all I've ever found are unsupported claims and propaganda. If real evidence existed, all that rubbish would be unnecessary.

@NewBecky His "atheism" in doubt by his own words,
However, in the interest of total disclosure, let me add that my problems with faith were not solely intellectual. I had a vested interest in the non-existence of God because I was living a rather immoral lifestyle and did not want to be held accountable for my behavior. To me, atheism opened up a world of hedonism that I knew wouldn’t be acceptable to God if he existed.
(Let me be clear: I’m not saying that all atheists are hedonists. I’m just saying that, for me, atheism cleared the way for me to live a self-indulgent, me-first, narcissistic life. And to be honest, to this day I can’t figure out why atheists would choose any other path, although I know many do.)
In other words, I didn't care if there was a god or not, I was just an asshole. No person who is an atheist is an atheist so they can be hedonistic, thats just ridiculous.

@Entwistle He created man with his own freewill. You are not free to love on your own unless you are also free to hate or at least to dislike. Freedom to obey would also have the freedom to disobey. Hell is a terrible place, but what makes it terrible is the absence of order... like the splitting of an atom. It is the absence of God. God is not truly omnipresent because He is not in 1 place, hell. He is life and hell is the absence of life, order, peace... But, you are welcome to reject Him... it is your perogative.
