In the UK, organ donors cannot choose to leave their organs exclusively to fellow Christians.... [Spirituality & Religion]

Would this not deter you from donating? For example, what if an Atheist received part of your body? Not only would it prolong the life of someone who's sullen and anti social (at the expense of a Christian life), it may result in them getting into Heaven when they've done nothing to deserve it.

Thought experiment.

Bob is a Christian and "saved" and such will go to heaven.

Steve is an atheist and thus not "saved" and thus going to hell.

Or so that is the fundamentalist position.

Both have kidney failure. You are a match. Who do you give the kidney to?

Obviously Steve who is damned. As the kidney would extend his life and give him a chance for redemption. Bob dies young but goes to heaven.
