You can't write a book and say something must be true because it's in the book. And, worse, pretend that science agrees.

It was not man that wrote the Word of God, it God, Yahweh, Himself that wrote it.
2 Timothy 3:16 &17
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for [c]instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Peter 1:16 - 21
16 For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” 18 And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.
19 [i]And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private [j]interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but [k]holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
The Word of God.

@GodSpeed63 I can't work out if you're being ironic now, but you're making me want to repeat my original statement.

Why's that?

@GodSpeed63 Because you just quoted the book to disprove my assertion that you can't believe anything in the book just because it's in the book.

God is not a man that He is capable of lying or be in error, which is why His Word is truthful and reliable.

@GodSpeed63 But your acceptance of this is predicated in a book created by man, who is more than capable of lying and being in error.

One can just as well say Harry Potter is real because it was written in a book by someone with divine inspiration.

Where's your evidence? Post it here for us all to see.One can just as well say Harry Potter is real because it was written in a book by someone with divine inspiration.

Your previous responses demonstrated that Bible reading escaped your comprehension. It isn’t that difficult.
Even a child understands stories. 😊

There are Biblical scholars that are atheists because they forgot that first things come first.

@Pfuzylogic Of course it's not difficult, that would be self defeating.
