@Adaydreambeliever I came across a person who was accused of just believing what her parents told her and that she was a science denier and that she simply believed because it was easy.

She responded with. My parents were atheists. I have a Phd in astronomy. My oldest son died and I am a breast cancer survivor.

Do you think she is delusional?

There's a book I want to buy.. it tells how America became nut-job religious and conspiracy theory central.. SOMETHING clearly went very wrong for so many of you to have become so stupid. Perhaps if understand why so many of you are so devoid of sanity and commonsense I might be able to be a little more sympathetic and feel sorry for you. But I don't look at like it's all just historical stuff. I'm sure alot of it did happen, I believe Jesus did exist.

But I also subscribe to it's mythology. The stories of ancient cultures have meaning to them, psychologically and to life to.

For example is it coincidence that before Noah and the flood they was a identical story back in mesopoamtia with a identical story? Gilgamesh and the floods? Or that Christianity can be traced to several religions that we're happening around that time? Like gnosticsm and Zoroastrianism? Probably not.

But your right it says in the Bible to end the pointless arguments yet here we are.
