Atheists, have you ever considered starting slow and just believing in God 1 day every week? [Spirituality & Religion]

Then when you get good at it, building up to 2 days a week? And so on. Today's Sunday so it would be a pretty good day to start.

Hope this helps.

Why should we? "Just believing in God" is exactly the opposite thought process of the one that brings someone to distance from his original religion/belief. Forcing oneself (or even worse, someone else) to shut down their logical thinking and just accept something nobody could prove isn't going to move them away from their (acquired) position.

[c=#7700B2]no thanks I still have some sanity within me, don't need to start believing in a magical man who watches over me all for the purpose to see if I am worthy to live in his magical kingdom where every one is happy and all their dreams come true.. I rather be realistic and believe in facts and evidence[/c]

Yeah and while they're at it they can just start believing in Santa and the Easter Bunny too.

let them be..let them have their own journey..faith is not like that..let life guide them..
That's not ministry. That's mocking and taunting people. Which is basically par for the course for religions dialog these days. Believers and non.

I used to believe in the religious god everyday when I was younger.. then I grew up and logic hit me like a ton of bricks
Have you started unbelieving this way?

But they'd only be pretending to believe in God on those days
I started believing in the tooth fairy this way.
