Should religion be banned? [Spirituality & Religion]

With all the fighting and purging in the name of religion....is religion causing more harm than good? And should it be banned?

Religion itself is not the problem though religion is manmade...it's the PEOPLE who follow it that is the problem. Humans have a tendency that no matter how good or well intentioned something may be to screw it up.
