Want to see a one hit K.O by evolution to young earth creationism? [Spirituality & Religion]

Look no farther than the way the fossil record is stratified.

It's absolutely incompatible with a young earth creation world view and i've yet to see any creationist adequately defend their position on this.

Young Earth Creationism is completely incompatible with facts, as you point out. The only creationism that may be compatible with the facts is intelligent design.

@windinhishair thats a decent argument, until you get the fallacy of passing the buck.

We were designed, so who designed the designer, is the gist of that. You might argue that God always just existed then, but that smacks of a cop out.

Oh it's definitely a position with a number of problems, it's just that it doesn't have to deny the evidence of the real world.

@SW-User A cop out in some ways, but it does acknowledge the existence of a Supreme Being and could be consistent with the facts. Most creationism has to overlook the facts.

@windinhishair It leaves the question of where that being came from. As others have pointed out, any answer to that could simply be applied to the supposed creation instead.
