Dear athiests and "scientists" [Spirituality & Religion]

You guys are really annoying, Not only do you guys just bash on everything that your peers haven't written, you are so quick to say "oh that doesn't exist it can't happen" as opposed to what a real scientist would do, and inquire. NOTHING shall be said no to, even if current stuff doesn't show, as no one knows this world 100% to say such a thing. Quite foolish to keep spouting the "oh that's not real" crap when you're not even going to take a look at it, instead rely on the stuff people in the past wrote.

Scientists inquire. Absolutely.

Do they give presence and validity to bullshit? No.

There is no evidence of a fake magic man in the sky. Never has been. There is no "real" scientist who would give any thought to it anymore because they have.
Still. No evidence.

@JaggedLittlePill perhaps not in this world there is no one watchling over but this isn't the only world/realm

@JaggedLittlePill It's not that hard to accept someone else's point of view, though. Society would be much better off if we did that.

@SW-User so we should accept the world view that gays should be put to death? The world view that slavery is okay so long as you the slaves don't die within a day of getting a beating?

The problem with accepting other's world views is that some of them are pretty messed up.

Additionally, beliefs in these things historically block people off from learning about how the world really works. People are out there doing real damage to the world because they don't believe climate scientists. People are out there who think humans have God given rights to do whatever they want to the other life on our planet without regard to ecosystem or shared heritage.

Scientists and as athiests trash on god beliefs because they cause harm and after thousands of years still have no evidence of being true. If we have no reason to believe it is true, then why should we support the ignorance caused by those beliefs?
SeadragonPrincess · 26-30, F
@ViciDraco what god are you refering to? My god(s) Don’t do such a thing...
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@SW-User giving credit to false belief systems causes harm to a society.

It would be like giving credit to Hitler. See what happened there?

That might be an extreme example..but it made the point.

Hitler believed Jews were evil. He laid that ground work and manipulated the people and millions of jews WERE KILLED.

I can respect someone having faith. I do. I don't like when that faith creates an outlet for religious zealots to change facts.

@ViciDraco The things in your first paragraph...did I say those should be accepted? No. That is not even what the OP is referring to and you know that. Come on, now.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@SeadragonPrincess Don't trash reality and fact and you won't have anyone referring to your God.
SW-User
@JaggedLittlePill It does not cause any harm. You must be crazy.
ViciDraco · 41-45, M
@SeadragonPrincess the majority religions. However believing in other gods without evidence causes the harm in training people to believe in things without evidence. It's then not hard to claim that supporting harmful gods is just as valid.
SW-User
@JaggedLittlePill He's your God too, whether you like it or not.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@SW-User wow. You really like living in your delusions. Go ahead.
SeadragonPrincess · 26-30, F
Long as they aren’t violent they’re fine @ViciDraco
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@SW-User I don't have a God because I believe in fact. There is no God, not one.
SW-User
@JaggedLittlePill And you keep living in yours, sweetie pie.
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@SW-User I love people like you.

"You must be crazy to not believe in a magical man who created all life. Forget science and evolution..delusional is the way to be sane!"
SeadragonPrincess · 26-30, F
@SW-User think he's a grumpy athiest
SW-User
@JaggedLittlePill Prove it's a fact lol. Oh wait, you can't because you don't truly know for sure.
SeadragonPrincess · 26-30, F
@SW-User man your whole "prove prove prove" thing is so dumb...let people live freely. And take the stick out of your ass
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@SeadragonPrincess

Look up dunning-kruger and then continue making yourself look even more stupid. Go ahead. I would LOVE THAT.
SW-User
@SeadragonPrincess Excuse me? You're the one who created this post in the first place 😂. Why don't you let people live freely? 😂
ViciDraco · 41-45, M
@SeadragonPrincess but that rule applies to your belief system. Other belief systems call for violence. Call to put the unbelievers to death. If they really believe there is an all powerful authority figure making the rules, then they must follow said rules or suffer the consequences.

Why do you get to make a special case to believe in your non violent pantheon but their violent gods are not acceptable?
SW-User
@JaggedLittlePill You've already made yourself look stupid enough lol.
SeadragonPrincess · 26-30, F
@JaggedLittlePill Everything changes, Science is thinking of new things every day, how stupid would you feel if they found the existence of something you so strongly yelled at as fake to countless people
JaggedLittlePill · 46-50, F
@SW-User oh my.

I just can't stop laughing.

I can provide proof. But will you be able to understand it? Probably not.

I wonder if you paid any attention in science class? These are the most basic things taught in grade school and middle school. Have you forgotten?
