Faith is bigger than facts.
Rabbo · 26-30, F
@SW-User the feeling of belonging must play into it too. People like being part of a group.
SW-User
@Rabbo Yes definitely. That all goes hand in hand with faith. In something bigger than themselves they need to belong to.
Because stupidity has no limits.

Facts aren’t as relevant to people’s decisions as one would hope

I own a copy of the book "dianetics" and was doing the free online courses for a while and I will say it does have some useful knowledge of things that can really help u in life.. But like I saw someone comment about Scientology with the use of just the books and online courses you can study Scientology on ur own without being a part of the church and getting involved in all the drama.. So that's what I did and funnily enough my local used book store sells the books for 10 cents each I've got Dianetics and a few others and never even spent over one dollar..

It's not about religion, my friend, never has been or ever will be. It's about a close relationship with God, Yahweh, through Jesus Christ, by His Holy Spirit. Religion can't save mankind from itself.
i feel sorry for the ones who practically put half their savings into it when other religions are free.

I think if you’re weak you will fall for any kind of cult no matter what it is.

Some people might ask the same thing about Muslims or Christians.

It is a very manipulative organization that targets vulnerable people. They claim to be "the fastest growing religion" when it is estimated that their total worldwide membership is in the 40,000 range. People pay enormous sums of money to achieve the so-called enlightenment Scientology purports to offer.
they aren't good at thinking.

They are mistaking Xenu for Xerox.

The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits

Rich and famous people join because Scientologists worship them.

You must be some athiest asshole who tries to tell others what and what not to do. Like woopty fucking doo. SO what if I believe in dragons as I am one myself
Rabbo · 26-30, F
@SeadragonPrincess nope. Just asking a question which most scientologists swerve because they're shifty as hell.
SeadragonPrincess · 26-30, F
@Rabbo It seems to be mainly athiests who say "oh why do you have your faith" phrased in such a way as your question. Sorry it's just i'm flustered at people. I myself am a dragon yet people go "REEEEEE BUT FACKTS"
PrivatePeeks · 26-30, F
They want to be like Spock from Star Trek. Dianetics is similar to the Vulcan discipline of shutting out emotion (Kolinahr).
