Why doesn't god want me to believe in him? [Spirituality & Religion]

There was a time in my life when i earnestly, desperately asked god to reveal himself to me.
If god is real then he would know how to make me believe. But evidently he hasn't done that.
So either he doesn't exist or he doesn't want me to believe, right?

Being God is about as limited an existence there is.

The way l see it

God can only ever do one of five things.

God can decide not to create the universe

God can decide to create the universe and fail

God can decide to create the universe and succeed

God can be satisfied with the universe

God can be dissatisfied with the universe and have it replaced
