I wouldn’t say either side is necessarily arrogant. Though, both sides certainly can be. None of us have a “choice” in what we believe. Our beliefs are shaped by our experiences, and in most cases our upbringing. I would however encourage both sides to be open to the possibility of being wrong. Both sides have extremist, set in their ways, thinking they have all the answers for whatever reason, when it’s impossible for any living person to actually know whether or not a god exists.
Well, I answered the question wrong, if I’m honest. I’ve developed a habit of grouping the abrahamic faiths with all other religions, in an attempt to be more respectful. The abrahamic faiths are certainly hubrestic. What I should have said is, yes, most Christians are arrogant. I only say “most”, because they can’t agree amongst themselves what they actually believe.
@Pikachu I’ve experienced Christianity the most as well, and can’t help but be militantly against it. I know not all people follow it the same, but a lot of the behavior and ideas it and the other abrahamic faiths promote are appalling. I can, with 100% certainty say that even if Yahweh exist, despite the absurd amount of contradictions and flat out false information in the Bible, that I want nothing to do with him. Sorry for the semi rant, sometimes I can’t help but be bit of an ass, especially on this topic.
