As an atheist, am i arrogant for rejecting the idea of god, or as a theist are you arrogant for thinking that everything was created for you? [Spirituality & Religion]

Honestly, if you’re an atheist and never once had experienced a paranormal activity in your life then you’re lucky.
Being ignorant is bliss
@SW-User

Fuck that. I've been looking to experience paranormal activity for much of my life.
But even if you experience paranormal activity, this makes no comment on the existence of god. It doesn't seem to be an answer to my question either

My paranormal experiences started as a baby but as an adult it started when I tried contacting spirits and after doing the process, that’s when everything started happening and looking to god is what helped cast them away. I googled how to contact spirits on google, don’t do it..@Pikachu
@SW-User

Nothin.

I could probably find the old website I found. “You’ll smell roses or hear pianos in the background” I heard the pianos 😪
But no I googled how to contact my guardian angels @Pikachu
@SW-User

Do you have any links to what you felt were effective rituals or whatever?

Like i said, i've been seeking the supernatural for a long time.

Soorrrryyyyy @Pikachu
@SW-User Paranormal activity doesn't necessarily imply the existence of God.

It could also be nothing more than your own mind playing tricks on you. Kind of like an optical illusion.
@LeopoldBloom

Or it could be that supernatural things exist but that such a thing as a creator god does not.
One does not necessitate the other.
@Pikachu Yes, that too.

Theism is the belief in a creator God or gods that are involved with the universe and man.

Deism is the belief in a creator God or gods that have had no involvement since the creation.

So I suppose there could be a belief that there is no creator God or gods, but that gods exist and are involved with us in some way. For example, extraterrestrials or some other race of beings that is more powerful than we are. It would be the way a stone age tribe would experience us surveilling them remotely and attempting to communicate with them. So it wouldn't be supernatural, only something purely material that we don't understand yet.
