Christians: do you believe that the WHOLE bible is the inspired word of god? [Spirituality & Religion]

If so, how do you reconcile the many immoral things in the bible like the owning of slaves, the inequality of women and the murder of homosexuals?

Now, this is a bit of a gotcha question but i am still genuinely interested in how the faithful reconcile these immoral things with the idea that god is unfailingly moral and just or that the bible is the ultimate source for morality.

It's filtered through people and people cannot be 100% relied upon. Oral traditions distorted a lot of things. But, I think there is real beauty and love throughout, even if there are some bad judgment calls.

I'm a Christian, but at no point do I think that only Christians have the copyright on morality. That seems like the deadly sin of pride, no? Anyhow, you don't have to agree with me, but that's where I am.

Well i agree that the bible was written by humans for humans. But if that's the case, even in part, how can we look to the bible as the ultimate guide to morality?

@Pikachu I'm not saying it's the ultimate anything, really.
