Creationists: When you reject the theory of evolution, why do you insist on talking about abiogenesis? [Spirituality & Religion]

Why do you insist that if evolution doesn't explain origins then it didn't happen?

Do you reject the germ theory of disease because it doesn't explain the origin of microorganisms?
Do you reject the theory of gravitation because it doesn't explain the origin of matter?

@AgapeLove

Don't care.

Now then, i assume you were trying to make a point earlier. Or have we abandoned that in favour of a lesson in etiquette?

@AgapeLove In that case, I'd view it as one unfortunate behaviour being exchanged for another. 😀

@hippyjoe1955 Your comments speak much more about your own motives than you realize

@hippyjoe1955
apparently belief that there is no God does become an arbiter of morality
Why is that apparent... and when have I ever expressed such a belief?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@newjaninev2 Many times. You just are just not aware of it.

Another totally ignorant and uninformed statement. But we shouldn't expect anything else from fundamentalists 😄

@Bushranger Not much of a summer so far (I'm in Wellington, so that's about par for the course). It's warm enough (mid 20s), but overcast quite a bit. I'm flirting with the idea of popping over to Brisbane for a while... a lot warmer over there, of course!

@Bushranger Mid 40s would have me locked in a small room with the air-conditioning on maximum! When I lived in Melbourne it would occasionally reach the low 40s (especially with a nor-wester coming from the red centre), and on those days I just moved from air-con to air-con

@newjaninev2 we're looking at about another five days of it. Don't normally get it this early.

I say we wait and watch what happen on Ceres!
