I wish I wasn't an atheist. I deeply envy people who have faith in an afterlife. [Spirituality & Religion]

It causes me a great deal of anxiety and stress when I begin to think about what happens to people I love when they die, and what will eventually happen to me too. I wish so badly I could feel safe and confident that, even though death is hard, my loved ones will be just fine, and so will I, and we'll eventually be together again, happy and secure.

@TexChik Really? You're going this low? "You're going to hell with all the liberals." You think God judges us based on our political philosophies?

And what's more, I'm not even a liberal. Liberals believe in very small government and the NAP and unregulated free market capitalism. I don't believe in any of those things.
TexChik · F
@BlueMetalChick but you are so deserving.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@TexChik If you're saying that I'm deserving of going to hell for my personal actions, you're probably right. I do a lot of good, but I also do a lot of bad. I'm a thief, a criminal, a con artist, I'm violent and disrespectful and I have destructive behaviors. But if that's why you think I'm going to hell, why can't you just say that? Why do you have to start a political debate on a post about religion and life after death? Can't you talk about ANYTHING without immediately dragging "liberals" into it? Is there any topic of conversation that you can engage in that doesn't involve you randomly calling people liberals?

And especially me, considering that most liberals would hate me since I strongly oppose the things they support.

@TexChik Wait up, how come you replaced your original comment with just a period?

@BlueMetalChick You have wonderful rationale, insight, and intelligence. Not to mention to wit conversations and things that wouldn't happen without. Those things can work against you, though.

I don't find you adverse to a lot of what liberal thought means. But when I think of Liberal I think in social constructs, and not economics. I think you'd agree some time terms can get mixed up and confused, especially when they are often used very subjective.

So keep up being who you are.. I'll forgive any transgression :)

@BlueMetalChick you are the face of radical liberalism. Your denial is like a skunk whining that it doesn’t stink... while stinking .
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@TexChik Name me a "radical liberal" policy that I support. Just one. Go ahead, I'm listening.

You still didn't tell me why you edited your first comment and replaced it with simply a dot. Why did you do that?
TexChik · F
@BlueMetalChick sorry lib ... not gonna . But I am sorry you lost your father ... I saw your mention of that tragedy and that caused me to retract my statement.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@SW-User The word "liberalism" immediately brings economics to mind for me, Chelsea. I think of the non-aggression principle and limited regulations and laissez-faire economics.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@TexChik Lol. You're gonna call me "the face of radical liberalism" but can't name even one single liberal policy, principle, idea, or goal that I support. Not even just one? You can't do that? How do you know if I'm a liberal or not if you can't name any of my beliefs or opinions?
TexChik · F
@BlueMetalChick not can’t Libtard, won’t , there’s a difference. 😁
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@TexChik No, it's that you can't. Because if you could, you would. You don't get to call me "libtard" when you can't come up with any ways in which I'm liberal.

Look I'm completely open to hearing why you think my ideas and opinions are wrong. I WANT you to tell me why. But that can't happen if you just hurl insults at me, shit your pants, and then run away.

@BlueMetalChick To me you are Liberal in how you open a conversation and want to see the conversation through. But that may be a social bias of my own ;-)
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@TexChik Look I dunno what to tell you, if you're gonna show up on my post, tell me I deserve to burn in hell for my political beliefs, but then won't even state what beliefs of mine you hate, I really can't help you. This one's on you. I've tried everything I can do.
SW-User
@TexChik Hah, I didn't read this earlier .... how is BlueMetalChick the face of radical liberalism? She's much too hard on people, if you know what 'liberal' truly means.
