Finding the truth... [Spirituality & Religion]

So I learned that celebrating Christmas is really not a celebration of anything real and may even be inappropriate for me (not judging anyone else). And, tbh my first reaction is I'm mostly happy about finding out the truth. My only apprehension is it seems to isolate me further from society and I thought I was trying to "fit in" more.
