I don't believe as far as I am concerned if there was such a person why would he allow so much evil and death to exist sorry but if I was almighty I could not sit back and allow what goes on .

@Rhodesianman So if you were the Almighty, you would not allow your people to have free will? You would instead control their lives?
The evil you speak of, exists in the hearts of evil people, not God. It was their choice, not God’s. How can God be evil, if He is perfect, and Love personified? God didn’t force any of them to exercise evil. @Rhodesianman

@LadyGrace Yes but if hes almighty then he would not allow starvation and child suffering and war etc things he can do something about .No god would be that much of a sadist .Sorry as much as people have free choice there are limits and only an evil sadist who had the power to stop it would allow it to happen and that is not a god I want to know .

@Rhodesianman Again, you presume that a God would or should block people from exercising free will. You think that a real God would instead choose to control the lives of His people? I find that curious.
That would also make Him something He’s not....a robot, made to perform favors and wishes, at every person’s whim and request....a cosmic genie. We are not to tempt God. He knows exactly what He’s doing, and He doesn’t need our help. His mission was, and is, to save souls, so we can live in heaven for eternity. A much more important quest.

There’s a whole lot, man wants, but is not necessarily good for him in the long run. Man is selfish and always wants his way. God gives people what they need, not what they lust after with selfish pride and demands. By demanding God give them their way, they heap hot coals on their very head, since they ask amiss. Material things shall rust away, but God and His Word, shall ever stay.

I see you really have no understanding of God, Yet you judge someone you don’t even seem to know. Man has free will. Sin comes from within. What you’re witnessing, is a God who loves us enough to show us exactly what this world is like with sin in it, and why we need Jesus. This world needs to wake up and receive salvation, before Jesus comes back to take His church/followers of Christ, out of this world, before the Great Tribulation is ushered in, right after the rapture takes place.

By the way, I’m no mug. Just an informed follower of Christ, rather than swayed by every wind of doctrine thrown out by false teachers, Jesus spoke of. Jesus said only a fool says there is no God. If you knew the full story, you’d see that without Him, we’d all go to hell. This world isn’t for long. Every one of us, should be grateful He died on the cross, so we could spend eternity in heaven. Or do you prefer the alternative? God’s Word also says, if we’re ashamed of Jesus, he’ll be ashamed of us when we meet Him face to face. He’ll say, “I’m sorry. I never knew you. Depart from me forevermore.” You have free will. It is YOU who makes that choice. God won’t make it for you, but you won’t be able to say you didn’t know you must make that choice. When you choose not to follow Christ, you’re telling God you want nothing to do with Him. Ever. He will honor that choice.

@LadyGrace If I ever do meet this god you are so adamant exists , He and I will be having words if you know what I mean .I cannot praise a being you reckon is almighty and has the power to stop whats going on and doesn't sorry I cant .As far as the bible goes its adult fairy tales written by a load of nutters .
Since we’re human, and not yet a part of the spirit world, it can be easy to judge God, but that is so unfair, because we can’t see into the spirit world to know enough of what is really going on behind the scenes, so to speak, to make a fair judgement. However, who are WE, that we would judge the great “I Am”??

Knowing who God is, and that He’s perfect, He is always fair in judgement and is a just God. He’s always right, regardless if we understand or not. Everyone always blames God, when all He wants to do is save people from hell. That doesn’t sound like someone who is out to harm people. He sure wouldn’t have died for our sins so we could have eternal life in heaven, if He was evil, but in the last days, Jesus said people will call good, evil....and evil, good, which is happening these days. There’s a flipside to that coin. His name is Satan, and he is listed as the great deceiver and a great liar, who wants nothing more than for people to go to hell.

Jesus also told us that for right now, we see darkly, as if behind a darkened veil. We weren’t meant to know all the answers or understand everything until we go to heaven. Jesus wants our focus on the most important decision man will ever make, and that is, whether or not to accept Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior and live for eternity in heaven. After all, that’s the most important thing in the Bible. It’s the most important decision we’ll ever make in our life, to follow Jesus, as that determines where we’ll spend eternity. All else pails, in comparison to that. Jesus is not willing that anyone should miss Heaven. Are we so caught up on particulars and in striving to understand it all, that we can’t see what’s really important, and miss heaven? What a tragedy. We’ll understand it all, when we die.

Since you’re such an “adult”, and insist on calling people nutters, like a little kid, towards those who love and serve God, this conversation is now closed to you. I just won’t be disrespected because of my beliefs. I may not have the same beliefs as other, but I respect their opinion, without the need to bully them.

When all meet Jesus face to face...and we will...it’s a fixed appointment, whether anyone believes it or not. It will be kept, and we'll soon see which were the foolish. Miss heaven and Jesus, and you’ve missed everything. I guess you think you know more than God. Good luck with that.

Yes...I’m adamant about knowing God exists. I know He does. I’ve met Him in a spiritual way, as I prayed to Him, and I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for Jesus. It’s not a guess. He’s a sure thing, but no matter what I’d say, those who want to know Him, will.....and those who don’t, won’t. That’s their prerogative. There’s always skeptics, but that won’t change God’s plans.
