Do you hear what God is saying to you? [Spirituality & Religion]
I pray to God everyday...multiple times. However I don't think I can hear what he's saying to me. How do you know?

boy, what a great question....after trying to walk with Him for over 40 years, I still don't know...just this morning I thought He was telling me something, but I told him that in the past I did what I thought He said to do, and failed miserably...so I'm very reluctant to trust that it's really Him telling me this time..

Yes I agree with you...last year something that I have pray to god about I thought was actually finally happening for me only to find out it wasn't. Now I am not sure what he's blessing me with. I am fairly new in my journey to a closer relationship with god. I have always believed and had faith in him. I just don't know if I can't hear him or I am not listening because of what I want and that its not what he has planned for me.
